A Message from our Elder Board…
It was Jesus who said, “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it” (Matthew 16:18). As “the head of the church” (Ephesians 5:23), He is at work around the world building His church, and we at Applegate Community Church understand that we are just a small part of that here in the Applegate Valley. We want to be in line with what He is doing in His church.
The Bible says that the church is “the pillar and support of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15), so it is our desire to carefully uphold and follow the truth as God has revealed it to us in His Word. Toward that end, we are committed in our regular ministries to seeing that people (young and old) are built up and established in the truth so that we can together live more and more for the glory of God.
We trust that you will find our website helpful, and that you will not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
The town of Applegate is a small community in Jackson County, Southern Oregon. It is located 22 miles west of Medford and 25 miles south of Grants Pass (the closest large towns). The Applegate River runs through the middle of the Applegate Valley and is surrounded by numerous mountains and small lakes. The church sits at 1400 feet above sea level in the center of the local commerce. There are four very distinct seasons which makes it perfect for farming, ranching and seasonal recreations. It is hard to find many places that are as beautiful as the Applegate Valley.
