Applegate Community Church is proud of our very own Leta Neiderheiser, Author of “Jesse Applegate: A Dialogue with Destiny”

Mrs. Neiderheiser grew up in Drain, Oregon, attended the University of Oregon, and became a teacher in California. She retired to live in the Applegate Valley and is a member of the Oregon-California Trails Association and the Oregon Historical Trails Advisory Council. She’s has been honored to present the story of her great–great grandfather at many speaking engagements and hopes to continue educating people about our heritage.

The church annual business meeting will be held January 29, 2012 immediatly following the morning service. A potluck will follow the meeting.

Message from our Elder Board…

We go to church for many reasons. We hope to develop positive friendships, to find a valuable place to serve, to make our lives count, and to find acceptance and love. Most of all, we are looking to know God and worship Him.

We believe Applegate Community Church meets all these needs, and much more. Through our various adult bible classes, Friendship Bible Coffees, “Heart to Heart” Women’s ministry, “Iron Sharpens Iron” Men’s ministry and many other ministries, opportunities are available for you to be challenged to grow spiritually. As a church, we are committed to minister to your entire family. Sunday School, AWANA, and our Junior & Senior High youth ministries (YACC) are just a few of the opportunities for children and youth. In all these ministries, our goal is to communicate that Jesus Christ is the only answer for our deepest needs. We hope you will become a part of what God is doing here.
